The BADLANDS is an IDPA Sanctioned Match. We are required to go “by the rulebook”. Please make sure that your equipment is fully compliant. You can expect a full equipment check, to include gun weighing, closed-lid box fit check, as well as ammo chronograph. Be certain your cover garment meets IDPA rules. If you question if your gun/equipment/gear is IDPA legal, first re-read the rulebook, then email the match director if you are not certain. We’ll do our best to get you IDPA legal before you start competition, but the ultimate responsibility lies with the competitor.
If you have had a class promotion since sending in your application, either through a recently fired Classifier or though a “bump” at a match, please promptly notify the Match Director.

Per the IDPA rulebook, the following subdivisions will be recognized at the Badlands: Junior (12-18), Senior (50-64), Distinguished Senior (65-over), Lady, Law Enforcement, Military Veteran and Active Military.
